It would appear that Pittsburgh Penguin Jordan Staal was among 14 arrested for being unruly at his brother E
ric’s bachelor party. Although he managed to avoid a night in jail, the 18-year-old forward got slammed with underage consumption of alcohol.
It must have been a pretty crazy party, as it took police from two countries and a border control agent to settle these guys down. The 20 or so party members “gathered on Highway 61 and began harassing passing motorists” before the authorities were called. The Canadian brothers were even threatened with deportation. It could be interesting to see how this one plays out. My money’s on a few extra laps and a nasty hangover.
Staal was also charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction the legal process.
