I just thought I’d call your attention to this nugget found in the AP recap of today’s Pirates-Mets game.
“Shea Stadium was being used for a pregame movie shoot starring Robin Williams and John Travolta, eliminating batting practice for both teams.”
That is almost as bad as the Red Sox allowing Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore to film Fever Pitch onto the field as they celebrated their world series victory. Why couldn’t they have filmed on an off day?
