Not a Good Start to Steeler Season
Sources say that Willie Parker sat out this afternoon’s practice with what appears to be a knee injury. Let’s just hope its not a serious one. I wouldn’t trust the Steeler’s running game to Verron Haynes and Kevan (KEY-von) Barlow.
Tomorrow night, we will have first-hand reports of training camp.
Update: From the Steeler’s website:
Willie Parker, Chris Hoke and Travis Kirschke were given the afternoon off. “It’s training camp, and there are bumps and bruises along the way,” said Tomlin.
A bump or a bruise is certainly better than a break or a tear.
