Is Joey Porter a Pirate Pitcher?

Joey Porter, ex-Steeler linebacker and aspiring Pac-Man Jones, did something over the weekend that Pirates’ pitchers enjoy doing.
He went to see Dr. James Andrew about an injury. Porter’s injury was about his knee and whether or not the linebacker should have arthroscopic surgery on his injured knee. The surgery would only keep Porter out for about two weeks and, quite frankly, it looks from here like he would be dumb not to do it. The injury seems like one of those that can only get worse with time, not heal.
It looks like the Steelers got rid of the troublesome linebacker at the perfect time as, in the six months since he has left the organization, he has fought with a Bengal and begun to break down. Good riddance.
