Bad News for Pitt Fans

As if Pitt football fans haven’t had a hard enough last two weeks or so, with Pat Bostick leaving the team for unspecified reasons, leading receiver Derrick Derek Kinder tore his ACL Saturday night and will miss the season. Kinder was expected to contribute a significant level of consistency to a team that has sorely lacked that from its passing game during the Dave Wannstedt era.
Pitt is going to count on some returning veterans such as Cedrick McGee, Marcel Pestano, and Oderick Turner to pick up some of the slack, with freshman speedster Aundre Wright and Maurice Williams (who has been working out with the quarterbacks) also seeing playing time.
