The Champ is Here: Broncos Rise to Glory
Starting all 16 games for the Denver Broncos last year at corner, Champ Bailey had 4 passes completed on him all season. Compare this to his league leading 11 takeaways (10 INTs), and it is more probable that Bailey will snatch a pick than that his receiver will catch a pass. More on this team after the jump:
Bailey, along with seasoned teammate, Rod Smith, could lead a Broncos team rejuvenated by the acquisitions of Daniel Graham, Travis Henry, and highly touted DE Jarvis Moss into fields of glory. With two young, freakishly athletic defensive ends in Moss and Elvis Dumervil (8.5 sacks in 13 games last year), the aforementioned Champ and new addition Dre’ Bly, the Broncos D could rival the unit that carried the Ravens to their Superbowl victory.
A stud RB and solid backup in Mike Bell, a well-rounded passing game, and the vaunted Denver offensive line mean that it will not be surprising if these stallions suit up in Arizona come 2008.
More in depth preseason analysis to come, including a mock draft…
