I too am sorry for the low class anti-BSU fake that rudely posted on here. We wouldn't be recruiting Stoudt if the coaches didn't like him. We turned down some pretty talented QB's this year and really we don't "need" to bring one in (we already have 4 returning). So he must be good if we are looking at him.

That aside, I do disagree on the play time assumption. As mentioned BSU have 4 returning QB's. At senior is Hamdan who was actually favored to start last year over Tharp but was too inconsistent. Then at Junior is a 6'7" guy named Nick Lomax. Perhaps you've heard of his dad, Neil Lomax, he's in the hall of fame. Then at sophomore is a highly ranked QB from San Diego, 6'5" Coughlin. He's so talented he actually made the back up spot (#2) behind Tharp last year as a freshman. Last but not least is Moore. A redshirt freshman from Washington the state's Gatorade AND Washington player of the year, broke the state record for yards and td's in a year, two years in a row. He threw 66 tds as a junior (state record) and then 67 as a senior, breaking his own record. From what I hear he was lighting it up in practices.

The point is, BSU has loads of depth at QB and I wager a new recruit would have to work harder for play time at BSU than at Pitt. Case in point, elite 11 QB Cody Hawkins from Boise was going to Grey shirt at BSU. Instead he ended up going to Colorado where he started as a freshman. At BSU he would have been 4th or 5th on the chart. In fact many think the reason Renfree chose Duke over ASU and BSU is for that very reason. ASU and BSU both have a load of QB's. At Duke Renfree was to the top player right away.

This Devin dude crawling all over the internet on his one man mission to bad talk BSU is getting really old. Im glad it's just a matter of time before everyone realizes he's just a BSU hater.

BSU fans across the country are good people. This young man would do well in Boise with it's pro style offense and Coach Pete an company's ability to get the most out of each player.

Good luck in your decision. Either way, thanks for considering the great Boise State University as your home for the next few years Mr. Stoudt.

Devin actually drives his beat up pinto to the corner Gas Station every moring where he has worked for the last 25 years. He spends his mornings selling coffee, cigarettes and gas and his afternoons selling soda, microwave food, cigarettes, and gas. Then he goes home to his fat wife who homeschools his special needs child and trys to talk football. His screenname BSUAlum76, yeah okay so you used to picked up scrap metal on campus in 1976, big deal that doesn't mean you actually went there.

Is this the same "Devin" or "BSUALUM76" that posted on several other forums trying to make Boise State fans look bad? For those outside of Boise, you will find most BSU fans to be humble and glad to have an outstanding athlete like Stoudt considering our program. Renfree was a great prospect, but Stoudt has a great background as well. The comparison to Brady Quinn by Stoudt's HS coach is very encouraging.

I had never heard of Stoudt before he appeared on Pitt's radar. After looking into him for a few months, it turns out that he is a big, fast athlete who has a strong pedigree (his father was the Steelers' QB in the 70s), much like your son.

Adam, As a proud Bishop Kelly High School, Boise State, and USC MBA Program Alum, I pride myself on bringing a high level of excellence and pursuit of perfection to everything I do. Whether that's being a top businessman at my downtown Boise corner office, driving my Porsche to my exclusive, upscale Boise neighborhood to kick it with my visually stunning blonde girlfriend and private elementary school educated son(Devin Jr.), being a top caller on the Jim Rome Show(Devin in Boise), dining at the Arid Club, staying in peak physical shape thanks to my highly-regarded personal traniner, or rooting on my mighty Bishop Kelly Knights, Boise State Broncos, and USC Trojans, excellence is all I will accept. Unfortunately, it's quite obvious Zack Stoudt(whoever that is) does not share my commitment to excellence and pursuit of perfection. I've never even heard of this kid! I say since we lost out on Renfree just skip a QB in this year's class, or take a Walk-on. As a side note, look who Stoudt is being recruited by-Eastern Michigan, Louisville, Bowling Green, and Pitt. LMAO-that's not exactly Texas, Michigan, USC, Ohio State, and LSU. Why waste a scholarship on a kid who will never see the field at Boise State?
